I have been teaching students privately for over 7 years and taught a wide age range in that time. I currently have a 100% pass rate on grade exams taken by my students. I have a degree in Professional Music Performance from The Academy Of Contemporary Music, I frequently gig and record, giving me relevant experience in the competitive field of music.

I aim to create a relaxed and comfortable environment in which to teach, I find this helps the student focus on the material covered each lesson. I also make video lessons expanding on topics to give eager students more material to practise. Based in Dorking, I am available for tuition to drummers of all ages ranging from beginner to advanced. Lessons are tailored to the needs of the student; whether you wish to learn the fundamentals of the drums or target a specific technique or area, I can guide you along the way to becoming the drummer you want to be. Lessons take place over a half hour or hour period either in the comfort of your own home or in my home drum room. In order for you to get the most out of your lesson, each lesson has a plan with sheet music written in advance based on what I think you need to learn or, if requested, targeting a specific technique.
