About Lubna

Hello! My name is Lubna, and I am a professional Software Developer and AI Engineer. I bring a strong combination of academic excellence and real-world, hands-on experience to my teaching. I hold a Master of Science in Computer Science from George Mason University, where I graduated with a 3.93 GPA and earned a Distinguished Academic Achievement Award. My professional work involves building and deploying AI/ML systems using Python and AWS, and I am an AWS Certified AI Practitioner. I am confident in my ability to help you master complex topics by grounding them in practical, industry-relevant examples.

About the lesson

As a professional Software Developer and AI Engineer, my teaching approach is centered on bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world application. I go beyond the textbook to show you how programming concepts are used to build and deploy actual products.
A typical lesson starts with us tackling a specific concept you're struggling with. We'll then immediately apply it through hands-on coding exercises, often inspired by my professional projects in AI and data automation. What sets me apart is my industry experience; I can provide practical insights from my work with Python, Java, and AWS that you won't find in a classroom. My lessons are for any student, from beginners to advanced learners, who wants to not only pass their class but also understand how to think like a professional engineer. With a Master's in Computer Science from George Mason University and a 3.93 GPA, I have the academic and practical foundation to help you succeed.

Perfect! Very organized, well prepared, structured. Lubna covers the material in sufficiently depth and more if necessary to challenge the student first the concepts followed by practice problems. She also assigns homework.

Can't recommend Lubna highly enough, and she is way way much worth more than her rate indicates.

Personality-wise, she's super friendly and pleasant, and will do anything to accommodate the students' schedule. Lubna is a super genuine person and only happy to see student learns and improves, which son Paul does. Within several sessions Paul has gone from C to A in several computer tests. This was the AP class he was going to drop the week Lubna first coached him.
