About Lynn
My goal as a flute tutor is to make music education enjoyable, meaningful, and inspiring. With 14 years of teaching experience, I have guided school and college students toward becoming confident performers.
My classes begin with breathing techniques, posture correction, finger placement, rhythm, scales, and tone production before progressing to articulation, dynamics, and expressive playing. I believe every learner deserves personal attention and encouragement to achieve success.
Watching students perform with confidence has been one of the greatest rewards of my profession. Besides flute, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm practice, beginner music composition, and performance preparation.
My mission is to help students build strong musical skills while developing creativity and discipline.

I believe learning the flute should be an enjoyable journey that builds confidence, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love for music. My teaching methodology is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, trying new techniques, and improving at their own pace.
Before starting lessons, I understand each student's experience, interests, and learning goals. This helps me prepare lessons that match their individual needs. Beginners learn breathing control, posture, finger placement, rhythm, note reading, tone production, and simple melodies. As students progress, they develop scales, articulation, dynamics, phrasing, ornamentation, improvisation, ensemble playing, and stage performance skills.
Motivation is the heart of my teaching. I celebrate every improvement, encourage regular practice, and help students overcome challenges with confidence. Communication is always simple, patient, and interactive. I explain concepts clearly using demonstrations, practical exercises, and regular feedback so students understand every lesson.
Integrity guides my teaching through honesty, fairness, punctuality, respect, and equal attention for every learner. Creativity keeps lessons exciting by including classical music, devotional songs, film melodies, folk tunes, breathing exercises, rhythm games, listening practice, ear training, duet performances, and creative improvisation.
Besides flute, I also teach music theory, recorder, beginner keyboard, sight reading, rhythm training, ear training, music appreciation, performance preparation, and basic composition. My aim is to help students become skilled, confident, and expressive musicians who enjoy learning throughout their musical journey.
