About Nicole
Hailing from Pratt Institute, I have been a student of elite arts for over a decade. I have been teaching for over six years to a wide age range and skill level of students, and currently work as a professional illustrator and product designer in publishing, education, and with multiple small businesses. I am a lifelong learner, which has grown my skill set wide; having experience in atelier drawing, painting, graphic design, web design, illustration, advertising, and silkscreening. There is very little I haven't tried! My hobbies include writing and creating pottery, and being outdoors as much as possible.

Every artist has a special mark, perspective, and ideas. With my approach, we will take inventory of multiple aspects of your craft (technique, skill level, medium, and output) to develop your skillset for your personal goals.
Whether your goal is to create a portfolio for college, publish your first comic, create album covers, pursue a career in product design, or just get better at figure drawing, I can help get you there.
My lessons typically follow a format of warm-up, practice, critique, and context through art history and theory. Depending on your goals, the format of the lessons are always flexible and specific to you!
I have taught K-12 for six years, but also have a healthy amount of college and adult professional students. Reach out to me, and let's start our journey to excellent artmaking!
