About Abishek

Currently a professional tutor at a secondary providing tutoring on a one to one basis. I have been tutoring since my college days and I recently finished a teaching placement. I have plenty of experience in teaching. My current role includes preparing tutoring lessons for individual students and delivering them in small groups. Most of the time, I find students lacking key foundational knowledge which makes it harder for them to progress. My approach is to find those gaps in knowledge and master those topics before introducing new topics. I have 100% positive feedback from every student that I tutor. I have been involved in teaching and education for more than 6 years. During my time at university, I worked as an assistant Physics teacher via Hallam STEM internship. During my time at Meadowhead School, I prepared physics lessons, helped the physics teacher in marking papers, and was responsible for other pastoral activities during sports day. I completed an online safeguarding course during my placement. I am aware of how to deal with students of different age groups.

About the lesson

I approach each topic by breaking it down to small chunks. I will start from basic if needed to make sure my student understand the concept.
