About Thomas
I'm a working Alt indie/pop/electronic Mix Engineer based in Manchester UK. I’m a creative and progressive engineer with experience mixing across the musical spectrum. After graduating with a BA Hons Degree in Professional Musicianship I was fortunate enough to record in some of the UK's top studios, working with industry leading producers I quickly developed an obsession for shaping sound from behind the desk.
My role as your teacher is to help guide you with as much practical, theoretical and philosophical mixing and mastering skills as I can, show you my process from beginning of a mix to the end, how I go about applying the use different plugins and effects. As a working mixing engineer with experience mixing across a wide varieties of genres. I am able to offer my students unrivaled dedication & commitment. Helping them understand the art and technicalities of mixing and production. I cater my lessons for my students depending on their individual interests and music tastes.
My goal is to creating bespoke lessons and approaches with plenty of discussion and interesting practical challenges that push the boundaries of what they already know to gain new knowledge that will last a lifetime. I’ll work with you to provide flexible in-person and/or online one-to-one music lessons to bring you to the level that you want to reach.
