About Monique
After about 15 years of performing and teaching musical theatre I had a realization that the fun had been sucked out of the thing I loved so dearly, so recently I've begun reincorporating that into my own life and I'd love to share that with you if you'll let me.

If you love doing little bits with your friends, the idea of acting has always appealed to you but you don't know where to start, or if you've been acting for a while but don't feel that spark anymore then these lessons are for you!
We will spend the first one getting to know each other, making sure we are a good fit for one another while I gain a better understanding of your goals and experience. Gotta know where we're starting from and heading to on this journey we're going to take together before we depart.
Future lessons could include many things depending on your end goals:
Playing pretend like children do
A How to on Character Development
Running scenes together
Working on bringing out a particular emotion
Not just playing a character but connecting the gap between you and them
SO MANY OPTIONS!! The possibilities are endless!
I want my teaching to always come from a place of having fun, so joy will be prioritized, of course the other emotions have a place in acting and we can touch on them briefly as all are necessary to experience the others, but the focal point will be to playfulness and enjoyment!
All of our lessons will go at your pace as it is your adventure, thank you for considering me as company.
