About Iris
As a violin tutor with 15 years of experience, I have taught school students, college students, and working professionals who are passionate about learning music. I enjoy helping students unlock their potential and gain confidence through music education.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, consistency, and personalized guidance. I believe that every student has the ability to succeed when lessons are adapted to their individual needs and goals.
Over the years, I have successfully mentored many students and helped them improve their musical skills. One of my most meaningful achievements has been seeing students develop confidence and maintain a lifelong interest in music.
I strive to create engaging lessons that encourage creativity, discipline, and personal growth. My mission is to help students become confident violin players and lifelong music enthusiasts.

My teaching approach is based on patience, compassion, and encouragement. I believe students learn best when they feel respected, supported, and free to make mistakes. Therefore, I create a comfortable atmosphere where learning becomes enjoyable and productive.
In violin instruction, I emphasize strong fundamentals, including posture, bowing techniques, rhythm, finger coordination, and music reading. I teach gradually and ensure students understand each concept before progressing further.
I encourage consistent practice and provide constructive feedback to help students improve steadily. I also guide students in developing effective practice habits that support long-term growth.
Besides violin, I teach related music subjects such as music theory, ear training, rhythm training, and sight reading. These subjects enhance overall musical understanding and performance skills.
My goal is to help students become independent learners and confident performers.
