About Wren
With over 6 years of experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Violin Performance, I offer a gentle and holistic approach to violin learning. My focus is on helping students connect with themselves through music. Each lesson is calm and supportive.
I use the violin as a tool for emotional expression and storytelling. Students learn to explore their feelings through sound. This builds confidence and awareness.
Improvisation, journaling, and soundscape work are part of my teaching. These methods support stress reduction and mindfulness. Learning becomes healing.
I have worked with neurodiverse learners, trauma survivors, and adult students. I adapt my approach to meet each individual’s needs. The violin becomes a safe and powerful space for growth and well-being.

My teaching approach is based on building strong and expressive violin skills. I guide students through each step with care. Lessons are simple and focused.
Vibrato development is a key area of my teaching. I help students control its speed and width naturally. This improves tone and expression.
I also teach how to apply vibrato in musical phrasing. This helps students connect emotionally with the music. Expression grows.
I provide consistent feedback in every lesson. I support students in gaining confidence and control. With practice, your sound will become richer and more expressive.
