About Parker
Hi, I'm Parker! I'm a TV writer who has worked on shows for Netflix, Amazon, NBC, and Paramount. I started out as a book nerd writing stories about the class bunny at my school. I love reading and writing novels, essays, poetry, and screenplays.
I graduated from Bowdoin College with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Francophone Studies. When I'm not working on a TV show, I teach writing workshops to writers of all ages on how to transform cool ideas into real works of art. Creative writing can be scary, especially that very first draft. That's why I'm here, to help you jump into the world of your story and create something amazing.

My lessons are tailored to each individual student and how you learn best. As a writer, I believe there is no such thing as a "bad" story. I work with students to find the ideas that excite them, find inspiration from books and shows, and teach how to write (and rewrite!) until the story feels right.
A typical lesson will usually focus on one element at a time, depending on the age of the student. A lesson can include coming up with the "beats" of a story, creating characters, or going through a draft together.
I've been writing since I was 6 years old and built my career as a writer without going to film school. I use a variety of approaches from academic sources to YouTube, to keep learning fun and accessible for anyone!
My lessons are available for any age, but I specialize in creative writing for middle and high school students (ages 12-18). I can help with work for ELA, AP English, college essays, and/or personal creative writing projects.
