About Anubrati

English is more than a subject—it is a skill that can open doors, build confidence, and help you express yourself clearly in school, at work, and in everyday life.

Hi, I’m Anubrati, an English educator with 10 years of teaching experience, a Master’s degree in English Literature, and professional TESOL certification. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with both children and adults, helping learners with different goals, abilities, learning styles, and levels of English.

My teaching is personalized, practical, and student-centered. I believe that every learner can improve when lessons are designed around their individual needs and interests. Rather than simply memorizing rules, I help students understand why English works the way it does and, more importantly, learn how to use it confidently in real-life situations.

I can help you with:

Grammar & vocabulary – Build a strong foundation and communicate accurately.
Speaking & conversational English – Become more fluent, confident, and natural.
Reading & writing – Develop clarity, structure, comprehension, and expression.
English Literature – Explore literary texts, themes, characters, analysis, and critical thinking.
School & academic support – Strengthen subject knowledge and prepare effectively for assessments and examinations.
Adult English learning – Improve communication skills for everyday life, professional settings, or personal growth.
Homeschooling support – I can design structured, engaging, and age-appropriate English curricula, complete with lesson plans, learning materials, activities, assessments, worksheets, and recommended resources.

For younger learners, I like to make English interactive and enjoyable, using stories, games, real-life situations, discussions, creative activities, and visual resources. For adults, I focus on practical communication, relevant topics, confidence-building, and goals that fit naturally into their lives.

I also believe in thoughtful curriculum design. For homeschooling families, I can create a personalized learning pathway based on the learner’s age, current level, goals, interests, and pace—so learning feels purposeful rather than overwhelming.

What makes my approach different is that I don’t want my students to simply know English. I want them to use it, understand it, enjoy it, and feel confident in it.

Whether you are a parent looking for a supportive English teacher for your child, a homeschooling family seeking a well-structured curriculum, a student preparing for exams, or an adult wanting to become more confident in English, I would love to help.

Let’s turn “I’m not good at English” into “I can do this!”

My Approach as a Tutor

My approach to teaching is personalized, student-centered, and practical. I believe every learner has a different pace, learning style, and set of goals, so I design my lessons around the individual student rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. My aim is not simply to provide information, but to help students understand concepts clearly, apply their knowledge confidently, and develop a genuine interest in the subject.

My Typical Lesson Plan

I like to make lessons engaging and relatable. I may begin with a story, real-life situation, discussion, question, or educational game to introduce the topic and connect it with something familiar to the student. We then move into the main concept, which I explain using clear examples and practical applications. Depending on the topic, I use PPTs, visual materials, study notes, and curated resources to make learning easier and more interesting.

After teaching the concept, I assess the student's understanding through questions, discussions, short activities, quizzes, or practice exercises. I also provide worksheets, further reading, and additional study material wherever necessary. For students preparing for examinations, I incorporate exam-oriented practice, revision strategies, question analysis, and mock assessments into the lessons.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to break down complex concepts and explain them in a simple, lucid, and understandable manner. I believe that a difficult topic becomes easier when it is presented logically and connected to real-life situations.

I also put considerable effort into planning, designing, curating, and personalizing lessons according to each student's needs and objectives. I do not believe that teaching should be limited to the duration of an hourly class. I am willing to put in extra effort beyond the classroom by preparing customized resources, worksheets, revision materials, and additional guidance whenever a student needs it. My goal is to ensure that students leave each lesson with greater clarity, confidence, and the ability to learn independently.

Who My Lessons Are For

I primarily work with school students from Classes 5–12 (middle and high-school students), helping them strengthen their English language skills, grammar, literature, writing, comprehension, and examination preparation.

I also work with adult learners and university students who need assistance with academic writing, dissertations, assignments, presentations, and improving their overall English communication. Additionally, I can provide work-related English assistance, including professional writing, communication, and language support.

Whether a student needs to strengthen their fundamentals, prepare for an examination, improve their academic writing, or simply become more confident in English, I tailor my lessons to their specific needs and goals.
