I started college in my mid-twenties and began my math journey with beginning algebra. Along the way, I struggled often with math, and know what it is like to be frustrated with learning. I have earned my degrees all in math; my master's is in mathematics with an emphasis on education.

I have been teaching full time as a community college math professor for over 20 years. I have worked with students with all levels of mathematical capability, and pride myself on not only being patient but also creative in finding ways to help students understand math.
