About Vera
My interest in programming began with a fascination for how structured logic can create functional, creative solutions to complex problems. This curiosity inspired me to pursue a B.Sc in Computer Engineering followed by an M.Sc in Artificial Intelligence, equipping me with both theoretical and applied expertise in modern software development. Over the past 10 years, I have guided students from beginners to advanced learners, focusing on skill mastery, conceptual clarity, and building confidence to tackle challenging projects independently.
I approach teaching with patience, adaptability, and clear explanations. Lessons emphasise step-by-step guidance, practical examples, and iterative problem-solving exercises. I encourage learners to experiment, make mistakes safely, and understand the underlying logic behind solutions, fostering analytical thinking and resilience.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with AI research, emerging technologies, and software development projects to ensure lessons are current and meaningful. Witnessing students grow from tentative coding attempts to confident software developers is deeply rewarding. Supporting learners in acquiring technical mastery while nurturing curiosity, creativity, and independence is the most fulfilling part of my work.

I tailor sessions according to student experience. Beginners focus on syntax, loops, conditionals, and small exercises to build a strong foundation. Intermediate learners explore modular design, functions, recursion, and debugging strategies. Advanced learners focus on algorithm optimisation, software architecture, API integration, and building complete applications. Each class incorporates guided explanations, coding challenges, and feedback to ensure learners build both competence and confidence.
Beyond technical skills, programming lessons enhance analytical thinking, creativity, and logical reasoning.
