About Justine
My interest in programming began with curiosity about how digital systems work and the ability to create software from logical steps. I earned a B.Sc in Computer Science and an M.Sc in Information Technology to strengthen my technical and analytical skills. Over 6 years, I have guided students from simple coding exercises to advanced problem-solving and algorithmic thinking, focusing on clarity, patience, and practical application.
I believe teaching programming effectively requires interactive, hands-on guidance. I use live coding examples, step-by-step explanations, exercises, and mini-projects to help students develop confidence and independence. I encourage learners to explore ideas, ask questions, and practise actively, creating an environment of curiosity and growth.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with new programming languages, frameworks, and projects to enrich my lessons. Watching students evolve from hesitant coders into independent, confident programmers who can design and implement solutions is deeply rewarding. My goal is to cultivate logical thinking, creativity, and lifelong programming skills in every student I teach.

Beginners explore syntax, loops, variables, and simple programmes, while intermediate learners focus on functions, modular design, and debugging practices. Advanced learners tackle complex algorithms, software design, optimisation, and coding projects. Each session balances theory and practice to help learners internalise concepts while developing confidence and analytical thinking, preparing them for exams, competitions, or real-world applications.
