About Rivan

My passion for programming began with fascination for software systems, digital innovation, and the creativity involved in transforming logical ideas into working applications. This curiosity encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology followed by a PhD in Computer Science. Over the past 11 years, I have guided students through programming learning using patient teaching and supportive instruction. I enjoy simplifying difficult coding concepts into manageable lessons that help students improve steadily. Watching students become more confident in software development continues motivating me as a tutor. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, consistency, and supportive learning instead of pressure or memorization alone. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable exploring technical ideas openly.

Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with beginners, university learners, and advanced students preparing for technical careers and software development projects. These experiences have helped me understand the importance of flexibility and patience when supporting different learning styles. I use coding demonstrations, practical examples, guided exercises, and structured problem solving to help students progress steadily without feeling overwhelmed.
