About James
I am a prospective Maths & Physics student starting my studies in September 2021 at the University of Bath. I Studied my four A levels (Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics & Computer Science) at Godalming College, Surrey and achieved 2 A*'s (in Mathematics & Further Mathematics), and 2 A's. I am relatively new to tutoring with little prior experience, however I found myself constantly explaining principles to my fellow students. I have assisted people in studying and improving their confidence for GCSE, AS level and A level qualifications.

I find that the most effective method has to be tailored to an individual student though generally involves breaking down each subject into fundamental principles and ensuring that each student has a firm understanding of the basics, before building up the students confidence and challenging them with problems of incrementing difficulty.
I am understanding and appreciative of each students struggles and where the may be finding difficulties and individually devise a strategy to help develop not only a students comprehension but also their confidence in not only the subject content, but in themselves too.
