About Zahra

I am Zahra, an A* English student with direct, up-to-date experience of the current secondary school syllabus and examination standards. My academic track record speaks to my mastery of the subject, while my teaching approach reflects a commitment to structure, clarity, and measurable progress. I understand the pressures students face because I have recently navigated the same system.
My lessons are not casual peer tutoring; they are carefully planned sessions grounded in proven techniques, real exam materials, and personalized feedback. Parents and students can expect reliability, patience, and a genuine investment in every learner's success.

About the lesson

As an A English student, my philosophy is rooted in clarity, precision, and exam readiness.
My methodology is highly interactive and exam-focused. I don't just lecture, I use a "show, do, review" approach. We start each session by identifying your child's specific weak spots (whether it's essay structure, grammar tenses, or comprehension skills). Then, we tackle them using real past-year papers and model essays, with me guiding them through the thinking process.

A typical lesson runs for 1.5 hours, which I've found is the perfect sweet spot My qualification is my recent track record. I have successfully navigated the current syllabus and examination format. I bring fresh, up-to-date knowledge of what examiners are actually looking for, plus the patience and relatability of a peer mentor.

These lessons are ideal for secondary and/or primary school students.
