About Kirstie
I am a student at the University of Cambridge taking biological natural sciences, psychology, mathematical biology and anthropology papers. I have straight A*s in 14 GCSE subjects and straight A*s in biology, physics, maths and psychology A level, all of which I have tutoring experience in with secondary school students and adults. I have been tutoring psychology, maths and biology online for the past year and am looking to offer my services to more students.

My teaching method is student-led focussing on the topics that students are struggling with most. I am passionate about and trained in many areas of the psychological and behavioural sciences so am very open to exploring what the student wants to explore. To help resolve their difficulties, I often teach them the material myself from scratch or employ Vygotsky’s zone of proximal development theory to help them to solve their difficulties themselves with my guidance. I may also set homework’s for the students to complete in preparation for the next session, which are generally to answer past paper questions or to read material I point them in the direction of.
