About Anthoni
I am a Psychology graduate receiving a 70% and above across most modules. I completed the Edexcel Psychology course during my time at sixth form, and so I have an in-depth awareness of examination techniques across the board. During my time at college, I mentored first-year pupils in an intervention scheme to help raise their grades, and also teach as a part of the National Tuition Programme. I am also a TEFL qualified teacher.

I will begin each lesson with a five-minute warm-up task based on the topic we are covering throughout the session, such as a mind map. After this, I will spend a segment of the lesson explaining the topic at hand and answering the pupils' questions while they consolidate in the form that best suits their learning style - I recommend the Harvard style and can demonstrate how to take notes in this form during our first session. After this, we can go through the feedback on the homework I have set the pupil. Before the end of the session, the pupil will complete a key terms test on the topic covered that I will mark before the end of the lesson. This follows the spaced-learning pedagogy, operationalising how much of the information has been meaningfully recorded by the pupil during the lesson. The homework I set will be in the form of short answer exam questions, which the pupil will be expected to provide in a single notebook or folder where possible, as this creates an excellent revision tool in the run-up to the examinations.
