Having taught both children with learning difficulties and autism, as well as highly functioning businessmen and diplomats, I can adapt the style and level of lessons to the needs of students. I have worked in colleges, Universities, the Foreign Office and private language and business schools.

Having been a mature student myself, I understand issues facing students who learn a new skill beside a job and family commitments. I can adapt the lessons and the speed of progress to the individual needs of the student. I prepare my lesson plans but also like to use a good textbook. Both psychology and language teaching has to cater for every day experience and include cultural, social and historical issues.
My lessons cater for total beginners to A’level standards.
