About Taylor
I have over 10 years of experience as a dance instructor, working with children and teens of all levels and abilities—from competitive athletes to beginners with developmental disabilities. Currently, I'm a teaching assistant at my university, where I’m also designing an experiment focused on supporting competitive dancers in becoming healthy, happy, and successful learners. My deep passion for learning drives my commitment to helping students achieve success, and I look forward to guiding many more toward their academic and personal goals.

I tailor my teaching methods to leverage a learner's strengths while addressing areas for improvement, boosting both confidence and competence. I begin by identifying their goals and current level of knowledge, then create attainable learning objectives. Once those objectives are achieved, we review and discuss how the strategies used can be applied in other contexts—empowering students to become self-sufficient learners.
With a deep understanding of effective study techniques, I help students develop strategies to make learning more efficient and less stressful. My lessons are designed for high school to university-level students who may be struggling with course material, want to improve academically, develop better study habits, or refine their writing skills.
