About Sahara
I am entering my last year BA Psychology in an Honours Thesis program and so excited! I love learning how to be a better counsellor. I am particularly passionate about community mental health and marginalized individuals' mental health. I have worked at a treatment centre as a therapeutic music instructor as well as a youth worker.
The performing arts have always been part of my life and I feel that my passion for both psychology and performing allows me to have a well-rounded knowledge base that I hope to share with my students!

I fully believe in meeting students where they are at! I do my best to get to know the strengths of each person and help them learn content they are struggling with based on those strengths. I worked with primarily youth and young adults and so I have learned the importance of making lessons feel fun and relevant.
My students can expect to have lessons feel like a dialogue and to be engaged in a way that helps their marks!
My lessons are for students who need help understanding the concepts introduced in the first years of psychology. They are also beneficial for students who need help with APA format or essay planning/writing in general.
