I am a psychology student who has been tutoring for around 3 years. I've taught 6 people, one being my brother. They have all improved significantly due to my approach of never giving up. I have received an A in this in the equivalent to GSCE and A-Levels

I believe that practise makes perfect. My method involves ensuring the student has a good grasp on the topic by actively doing examples of problems in that topic.
I then giving a similar problem to see if they can do the question too.
It is important that students try their hardest to attempt a question before getting the answer. This is to see where they went wrong with the question and to encourage mathematical thinking.
I will always get to the root of the confusion and try clear up anything as to make problems easier to grasp.
Whether in GSCE or A-levelsz As soon as you tell me your speed/level of maths, your most difficult areas and what is your biggest struggle with maths, I will formulate a study plan where I will outline all of the topics we will cover and when and then when we start get questions from my textbooks but if you prefer I will get question from a specific source.
