About Aya

A passionate A* psychology tutor who is interested in helping students of all ages evolve and advance in their academic potential, acquiring the skills and confidence to achieve the results they are targeting and deserve!

I am currently taking a gap year to widen my experiences and psychological knowledge before starting my studies as an Psychology undergraduate student at King's College London (Russell Group university)

Having received A* in both psychology and sociology (despite health concerns and admissions during the year), I am a believer that a student doesn`t need talent or a teacher to improve academically. With the right skills and techniques polished, a student can go from a D to an A. My job as a tutor is to build up your confidence in your abilities and help you polish those exam skills so you are ready for your public examinations next year!

Have faith in me and in yourself! You can achieve whatever you put your mind to!

About the lesson

I have been academically gifted from young and have experience in tutoring students aged 6+ from the age of 13 years old; tutoring family, friends etc. I have most recently worked as an English tutor for a tuition company as well as an Arabic school teaching assistant; all whilst completing my A-level exams. Fun fact about me also is that I have also been an instructor for mixed martial arts for over 6 years so I also have tutoring experience in both extracurricular and academic fields

Now that I have completed my exams and received A*A*A in psychology, sociology and history, I have decided to take a gap year to build my experience in the world of employment and psychological field before pursuing my BSc Psychology degree in September 2025.

I have a wealth of tutoring resources and notes to share with my psychology, sociology and history students which I have used to aid A-level students to be able to analyse and engrain the necessary exam techniques and structure required to achieve those A*s.

I take a very personalised approach and believe that having an action plan and revision/ study timetable, alongside organisation and exam practice is VITAL to acquiring high grades at both GCSE and A-level.
