My teaching method is to be patient and attentive to the child's strengths and weaknesses. I believe that it is important to celebrate a child's successes and good works but to not settle for anything other than their best works and outcome for them.
Last year, I was a part of the formation and execution of a peer mentoring scheme in which we supported the pupils both educationally and socially. Although it was not a professional tutoring program, we were instrumental in allowing them to continue onto year 8 at the same school.
