About Shriyaa
Hi, I’m Shriyaa. I’m currently studying Psychology at the University of Queensland and have been interested in the subject since studying it at school. Alongside university, I’ve gained practical exposure through psychology-related internship and volunteering experiences, which have helped me connect theory with real people and situations.
I also created **The Curious Bean**, a psychology-focused platform where I turn research and psychological ideas into simple, interesting content. Building it has strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and make Psychology feel more relatable.
Having recently been a school Psychology student myself, I understand the pressure of exams, assignments and remembering lots of theories and studies. I’m approachable, reliable and genuinely enjoy the subject, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and learning without pressure.

Hi, I’m Shriyaa, a Psychology student at the University of Queensland with experience tutoring Psychology. My teaching style is friendly, clear and discussion-based. I like breaking difficult theories and studies into simple ideas, using real-life examples, diagrams, practice questions and active recall so students actually understand the content rather than just memorising it.
Lessons are usually **45–60 minutes** and can be adapted depending on what you need help with, whether that is understanding a topic, revising for an exam, working through assignments or improving study techniques.
My lessons are best suited to **high school Psychology students and first-year university students** who want a supportive tutor who can explain concepts in a simple, engaging and practical way.
