About Zarqa
I’m graduating this summer with an Honours degree in Psychology from City, University of London, and will be taking a gap year before starting my Master’s. But this doesn’t mean I’m taking a break from Psychology – far from it! I’m passionate about the subject and committed to continuing my learning through reading, tutoring, and volunteering with Samaritans, where I help support people in need. Outside of academics, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym, reading fiction and travelling – I’ve been lucky enough to visit places like Indonesia, Malaysia and Mauritius, and I hope to explore many more. I find that having a range of interests helps me connect with students on a personal level, which lays the foundation for a positive and engaging learning environment.

My tutoring approach is student-centred, supportive and tailored to individual learning styles. I use a combination of interactive discussions, real-life examples and exam-focused strategies to help students develop a strong understanding of psychological concepts and apply them with confidence. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I'm flexible depending on the student's needs. I achieved an A* in A-Level Psychology and am currently in my final year of an Honours degree in Psychology at City, University of London. My lessons are ideal for GCSE and A-level students of all abilities looking to deepen their understanding, improve their grades and build confidence in the subject. Whether you're aiming for top marks or simply need a bit of extra support I'm here to share my passion for psychology and help you achieve your goals.
