About Nika
I have experience tutoring young children for 2 years, helping them with KS3 Maths and English as well as 11+ coursework. This has enabled me to practice adjusting and explaining concepts in response to children’s different characters and ways of thinking as I am aware each pupil learns differently. I was not only responsible for planning lessons and helping with homework, but for offering my support when it was needed.

Tutoring has taught me how to identify the thinking patterns of each student to help them complete their assignments in the best possible way, whether that be using a range of techniques such as revision flash cards or past exam paper questions. In my personal experience at school, I have found completing past papers to be the best and most useful form of revision however I will structure my lessons to suit the preferences and needs of each individual student. Tutoring is a very rewarding job and I aim to guide students to become more confident and achieve the grades they deserve.
