About Kuzi
I’m a friendly, patient and experienced Maths Teacher who loves helping students finally feel confident with numbers. I currently teach at secondary level in Essex, supporting learners from Year 7 to GCSE, and I’m known for my calm approach, clear explanations and ability to break tricky topics into simple steps. Whether a student needs to rebuild confidence, catch up on missed learning, or push for higher grades, I create lessons that feel supportive, structured and tailored to their pace. I teach both GCSE Maths and Functional Skills, and I offer in-person sessions around Stanford-le-Hope as well as online lessons for students across the UK. Parents often tell me their children feel more relaxed, motivated and positive about maths after just a few sessions — and that’s exactly the kind of progress I aim for.

I believe every student can succeed in maths when they feel calm, supported and clearly guided. My teaching style is warm, patient and highly structured: I break concepts down into simple steps, model the thinking process out loud, and build confidence through steady, achievable progress. I focus on understanding rather than memorising — because once a student truly “gets it”, everything else becomes easier. I also adapt my explanations to each learner’s pace, personality and preferred way of working, so lessons feel personal rather than one-size-fits-all.
