About Marina
Hi! I'm Marina, a multidisciplinary artist and art teacher originally from Barcelona, now based on the Gold Coast.
I studied Art at Escola Joso in Barcelona and have over 4 years of experience teaching art to children, teenagers and adults in different academies. Throughout my artistic and teaching experience, I've explored a wide range of techniques and disciplines, which allows me to adapt my lessons to different interests, ages and skill levels.
I'm passionate about making art accessible, enjoyable and free from unnecessary pressure. Whether you're a complete beginner or already have experience, my goal is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can learn, experiment and develop your own creativity.
I can teach in English, Spanish and Catalan, and I always take the time to understand what each student is looking for before starting.
I also have specialized training in creative well-being and am currently studying Psychology, which has further developed my interest in creativity, self-expression and the positive role art can play in everyday well-being.

I create personalized lessons based on what you want to learn. Before we start, I'll ask you a few questions about your level, interests and goals so I can prepare a program adapted to you. We can explore different artistic techniques, develop your own style, improve your skills or simply enjoy being creative!
Lessons are available for all levels and ages, from complete beginners to more experienced artists.
I travel anywhere across the Gold Coast and lessons can take place at your home or at a public location that works for both of us.
1-hour or 2-hour lessons available (shorter sessions are generally recommended for younger children).
Individual or small group lessons for up to 4 students.
$50 per hour, whether individual or group lessons.
️ Students provide the materials they would like to use, but I'm happy to help you choose what you need depending on what you'd like to explore.
I also offer creative well-being sessions inspired by art therapy approaches for $50 per hour. These sessions focus on relaxing, self-expression and enjoying the creative process through painting, relaxing music and different creative exercises. You don't need to know how to draw — the goal is simply to disconnect, express yourself and enjoy creating without pressure. I have completed specialized training in this area and I'm currently studying Psychology.
