About Julia
I am a qualified B.Ed graduate ( Bachelor of Education),(from the University of Pretoria) I have been teaching for a year and I specialise in the subjects English and History, my area of expertise is high school level (Further education training phase). In the year 2021,I will be completing my B.Ed Hons (Honors in Education) at the University of Cape Town.

my teaching philosophy is that each learner is unique and each individual learners differently, it is thus up to the teacher to be able to adapt and cater their approach to teaching, in a way that best suits each individual. I believe in personalized teaching, catering to a multitude of learning methods (visual, audio, kinetic, sensory etc. learning). I believe in the use of colour, animations and learning made simple, as well as fun. I believe that a person learns best when they are intrigued and interested in that subject, and it is essentially up to the teacher to ensure that successful and thought provoking learning takes place both in and outside of the 'class'. materials will be provided to learners, with step by step explanations and scenarios bing provided to each learner.
