About Hess
I am a qualified and experienced primary and secondary school teacher of ICT, Maths and English with experience of teaching young people from all abilities. I have experience of teaching young people who may have special educational needs as well as those who are gifted and talented. Education and teaching experience: I have been tutoring since 1999 and since 2003 I have had experience of teaching in schools. I possess a valid CRB/DBS and QTS, plus have experience of undertaking school schemes of work, planning school exams and moderating work. I enjoy teaching and ensure that learning is accessible and inclusive to all the students. I have a Masters as well as a BSc (Hons) degree, plus other programming and business related qualifications and certificates. I also possess a Masters Certificate in TEFL. Tutoring experience. I specialise in Maths and English from primary to secondary school (GCSE). I am a specialist too in ICT and computing science from secondary school GCSE and A level to undergraduate levels. In addition I have very good experience of working with and successfully assisting young people preparing for their Common Entrance Exams. I have a range of practical and IT based teaching resources to ensure that students make progress with their studies and never lose focus. I am keen to tutor throughout the working day and evenings and happy to tutor online.
