About Idy
I am a passionate Flute tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience. I teach School, College, and working professional students who want to improve their flute skills for education or personal growth.
My teaching approach is disciplined, friendly, and student-centred. I focus on correct breathing, posture, finger technique, tone quality, rhythm control, and musical expression. I believe strong fundamentals lead to long-term success.
Along with flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, scale practice, ear training, and performance preparation. I also guide students through exams and assessments.
One of my unique skills is motivating students to stay consistent and focused. I provide clear guidance, structured practice routines, and ongoing support. My goal is to help students achieve confidence and a lifelong interest in music.

I use a flexible and creative flute teaching methodology that focuses on clear communication and supportive learning. I explain flute concepts in simple language and demonstrate techniques to help students learn correctly. Open communication allows students to express difficulties and receive helpful feedback.
Creativity is encouraged through musical exercises, tone-building practice, and expressive playing that keeps students motivated. Lessons are adjusted to suit each student’s learning speed, ability, and goals.
Flute lessons include breathing control, posture, embouchure, finger technique, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading. Along with flute instruction, I teach related subjects such as music theory, rhythm training, ear training, and performance preparation to support complete musical development.
