About Rebecca
Hi, I'm Rebecca! I'm a fully qualified History teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and several years of experience teaching in both UK and British international schools. I specialise in History and Humanities from Key Stage 3 through to A Level, helping students build confidence, deepen their understanding and achieve their academic goals.
Alongside teaching, I've held leadership responsibilities including History Lead, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (Level 3) and Form Tutor. These roles have strengthened my ability to support students academically, pastorally and emotionally, ensuring every learner feels safe, valued and capable of success.
My teaching style is engaging, supportive and tailored to each individual. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit their needs, whether they're aiming to improve confidence, prepare for GCSE or A Level exams, develop essay-writing skills or achieve top grades. I use evidence-informed strategies such as retrieval practice, modelling and regular feedback to help students make lasting progress.
I pride myself on building positive relationships with both students and parents. My aim is not only to improve grades but also to help students become confident, independent learners who enjoy their subject and believe in their own abilities.
Outside the classroom, I've designed curriculum resources, led educational visits and contributed to whole-school improvement initiatives, all of which have strengthened my passion for inspiring young people to achieve their full potential. Whether your child needs extra support, exam preparation or greater challenge, I look forward to helping them succeed.
