About Nikita
After completing my education degree with Cum Laude, I started my first job as a Grade 7 Afrikaans FAL and Life Orientation teacher. The following year I became a Grade 4 teacher to experience class teaching. While I loved both roles, I especially loved class teaching where I got to develop a deeper understanding of my learners' needs and teach all of the subjects. Unfortunately, due to an injury and needing a risky surgery, I stepped away from my classroom position. In that time, I have found a love for private tutoring!

I like to tailor my lessons to the specific needs of my students. Each student is different and their learning experience should be adapted to address this where possible.
After an assessment lesson, I am able to adapt my lessons to my student to make it enjoyable and engaging. I also work with the 'I do, we do, you do' method where it is applicable.
I fully believe that learning is something we should look forward to doing and strive to make it that way for my learners.
