I have worked with Sam for many years. He is the most personable tutor and students warm to him instantly - partly due to his super personality but also because of his complete dedication and commitment to getting the best out of his students. He has always been a very well respected member of staff and would highly recommend him.

Sam was a very passionate and helpful teacher. His knowledge of events and unique facts when teaching me about the first world war at Sixth Form College have allowed me to gain a life long passion for the period and it's events. Sam is very approachable and is extremely helpful, which was especially seen when he organised lunch time revision and help sessions, which I attended. Overall, Sam was a helpful, approachable and knowledgeable teacher whose passion shone through in his lessons.

Sam replaced my history teacher after he had a breakdown during a crucial time in our A levels. Luckily Sam's friendly attitude and knowledge of history helped us get back on track on no time. Even with the instability of the year I still managed to get my target grade for history A level and I guarantee it wouldn't have been possible without Sam.
