About Joshua
I started teaching Maths because of the love instilled in me from my father. Not everyone will, or even has to, love maths but you can definitely get better at it. Mathematics is a language, it makes sense, but sometimes things get lost in translation which is where I specialise. I make every concept simple to understand and relevant to my students in order to aid understanding.

I have taught children with various needs and competencies over the years and one thing matters most: confidence.
Hence why I use a Diagnostic-first approach: I find your exact gaps, then build a personalised plan blending exam technique with real understanding. I will use the foundations that are strong to build up your child's confidence so they can tackle the harder stuff with greater resolve.
