About
I am a qualified teacher, lecturer and parent. I fully understand the challenges faced in supporting young children in their learning and the importance of personalised learning that is tailored to each individual child. The school day can be extremely busy and it is increasingly challenging for individual teachers to ensure every child receives the high level of support they need. This is where an experienced tutor can help. I have over twenty years' experience of working with children and the vast majority of these has been as a teacher. I have taught all age groups across the primary and early years phases. I am friendly, positive and patient and love to see children making progress in their learning.

Qualified primary school/early years teacher and now university lecturer. I have over 17 years' experience of teaching and supporting young children in the classroom across all areas of the curriculum. As an advanced teacher of literacy, I always aim to make lessons fun, interactive and memorable to support children in their learning. I have taught all age groups from nursery to year 6 and now teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate level so am well versed in adapting lessons to meet the needs of individual children and learners.
