Ahoy hoy! I'm Ross, a qualified teacher from Melbourne. After being a classroom teacher for several years, I've decided to leave that profession in favour of working one-on-one with curious learners. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, playing games and befriending neighbourhood cats.

I'm a qualified teacher specialising in teaching both Humanities and English as an Additional Language (EAL). But with five years experience as a Casual Relief Teacher, I've taught a wide variety of subjects to a broad range of students.
I like to take a dynamic approach to teaching. Everyone learns different things at different paces, and I'm happy to guide you along in any way I can. As a trained teacher, I would also encourage my students to experiment with different learning strategies to introduce new and interesting ideas.
I'm happy to help anyone from teenagers to adults, at any stage of their learning. I know what's typically required of coursework at secondary and tertiary levels and I understand how to achieve those high scores.
A solid 45 minute lesson is the industry standard, but anywhere between 30 minutes to a full hour is fine - whatever is convenient and comfortable.
