About Neo
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated Intermediate Phase student teacher with a passion for education and helping learners reach their full potential. I enjoy working with children and creating a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable, supported and confident.
Through my teaching experience, I have gained an understanding of how learners have different abilities, learning styles and individual needs. I therefore aim to make my lessons patient, engaging and learner-centred, while explaining concepts in a simple and understandable way.
I believe that learning should not feel intimidating. My goal is to help learners develop stronger English skills while also building their confidence and encouraging them to become more independent learners.
Whether a learner needs additional support with schoolwork, wants to improve their English or needs help preparing for a test, I am committed to providing personalised support and helping them make meaningful progress.

My English lessons are designed to help Grade 4–7 learners improve their confidence, understanding and overall performance in English. As an Intermediate Phase student teacher, I understand the challenges learners may experience with reading, writing, grammar, spelling, comprehension and communication.
Lessons are personalised according to each learner’s needs and learning pace. I use simple explanations, engaging activities and practical examples to make English easier and more enjoyable to understand.
I can assist learners with:
• Reading and comprehension
• Grammar and sentence construction
• Spelling and vocabulary
• Writing and creative writing
• Homework and assignments
• Test and examination preparation
• Improving English speaking and communication skills
My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where learners feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes and improve. Lessons can be conducted online, with materials and activities adapted to the learner’s level and specific areas of difficulty.
