About Sarah
I am a qualified teacher for age 16+ with experience teaching A level students and lecturing in sociology to undergraduates. I have a PhD in sociology from the University of Edinburgh. I also have degrees in archaeology and history. I have experience of working with young people with dyslexia, ASD and ADHD. I have previously tutored A level and undergraduate students. I have also been an examiner for GCSE and A level sociology so I am well aware of the exam board requirements.

My teaching is very student-led and I adjust my methodology to the needs of the student. I am very flexible in my approach and can support your particular needs, whether that is revision and exam techniques for GCSE and A level, or whether it is help with essays/assignments or subject knowledge. I offer support to all levels from GCSE up to undergraduate in sociology, history, archaeology and classical civilisation. However, I can also offer support for GCSEs and A levels in psychology and economics.
