About Dr Belinda
I hold a PhD in Social Science from a London University and have been working in research and academia for over ten years. I am passionate about qualitative research methodologies and supporting students to feel confident in using qualitative research techniques and analysing data. My own research has been published in numerous high-ranking academic journals and many of my students go on to publish their own research and make important contributions to their research field.

- Decided to use qualitative methodologies for your dissertation and don't know where to begin? - Gathered your data and now don't know what to do with all of those words and transcripts? - Thought qualitative analysis would be easier than quantitative and using stats but now you're not so sure? - What even is thematic analysis anyway? - Do I even need to use software and if so how? With a PhD in the social sciences and over ten years' experience tutoring Degree, Masters and PhD Students using qualitative research methods in their dissertations, I know only too well how overwhelming undertaking a qualitative research study can be. Cutting through all of the jargon and strange academic terms and confusing qualitative babble, we'll work together to determine the best possible approach to help you understand, analyse and write up your qualitative data, whether that's interviews, focus groups, or any other written form you want to work with. My lessons are about empowering you to find the golden nuggets of insight within your data and providing practical advice and steps to make the most of your findings.
