About Ariel
I first fell in love with the harp after watching Ariel play in a movie. Not only sparked my musical journey, but it also inspired my name.
Today, I share my passion for music through performance and teaching in creating an encouraging environment. I believe music is a reciprocal exchange where I share knowledge and passion for music, and in return, it grows through each student, audience and collaboration.
Whether on stage or in teaching, I aim to bring joy, comfort, and a sense of fulfillment to others. Performing allows me to connect, communicate, and create meaningful moments.

I have been playing the harp since the age of seven and am currently completing a Bachelor of Music (Classical Harp Performance). With my teaching experience, I provide personalised harp lessons for all ages from beginner to intermediate levels on lever and pedal harp.
My teaching approach is student-centred and tailored to each individual's goals, learning style, and pace. I focus on developing strong technical foundations, musical expression, and confidence while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. Whether students are learning for enjoyment, performance, or examinations, I encourage them to build healthy practice habits and passion for music.
Lessons typically run for 45–60 minutes, including technique, repertoire, musicianship, music theory, and performance skills, depending on the student's needs and interests. I offer lessons in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
