About Ojochide
I am a passionate and experienced Reading Interventionist and Specialist dedicated to helping every learner discover their full potential. I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham method, the Science of Reading, LETRS, and Letterland—evidence-based approaches that build strong foundational literacy skills through structured, multisensory instruction. With years of experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, I create a safe, encouraging environment where reading becomes both achievable and enjoyable. I use proven strategies to strengthen phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension, tailoring each lesson to meet individual goals. From there, I design targeted, evidence-based lessons that combine phonics, decoding, fluency, and comprehension strategies in a structured yet engaging way. A typical lesson includes a short warm-up, focused skill instruction, guided practice with modeling, and independent reading activities that build confidence and reinforce learning.
