About David
I am a university student with 6 years of experience in assisting students to find success in English and History class. I have taught many of my peers who were my age and younger while serving as a PAL tutor in highschool. My students always find creative breakthroughs in their papers because I help them to figure out how to explain their ideas well. I am a patient tutor who is willing to sit by a student until they figure out what direction they need to take their paper. I prefer to work one-on-one to assist in the revision and editing process but I can also give group lessons to teach the principles of effective writing. I did exceptionally well in the writing section of the college entrance SAT exam. I am willing to help anyone better their writing skills if they're just willing to put in the effort to try to learn.

I approach teaching on a holistic basis with the understanding that everyone is on a different level and in need of custom instruction. I enjoy building relationships with my students to ensure that I am here to help them for their own good rather than just pass down information for the sake of it. I am strongly convinced that the best learning comes from facilitating students learning process by using persuasion to encourage them towards a recommended goal. My approach is to have a conversation in education so that students can feel engaged in the learning process. I tend to use real-life examples and personal narratives to persuade students in moral, technical, and practical studies. I am persuaded that education is important for the generations to grow into mature adults in society beyond the negative influences against them.
