About Maya
I have achieved an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from one of the top 5 universities in Canada. I have done numerous studies in the sciences and have a passion for math. I was an Ontario scholar throughout high school and received numerous awards for my academic achievements. I am very proficient and a forward thinker. I have a well-rounded way of thinking and excellent problem-solving skills. Additionally, my kindness and empathy make me an excellent tutor as I understand there are many ways to learn and the path to academic success is not linear.

As a tutor, my method is to begin with a starter assessment to see where you are in your academic journey. Then begin every session with lessons on the topics of struggle and leave time for a Q and A period. I also prepare questions related to the topic of each session and aid in homework help. I have over a year of experience tutoring and will never let you down!
