About Rosalie
I loved teaching and only left because the long hours and emotional drain became unsustainable for me. I am an extremely experienced teacher, and I want to put my knowledge and passion to use.
I know I am a good teacher and form strong connections with students. Students have told me that they feel comfortable with me and that they feel as though I treat them as an equal. Students would tell me that my class was their favourite and where they felt safe. At the end of each year, I would receive a lot of gifts and cards so I know students really like me!

Having recently left the teaching profession after 8 years of teaching experience, I have a wealth of knowledge and a desire to see students achieve to the best of their ability. I have taught History and Social Studies, and English and Classical Studies extensively, being Head of Department in the latter.
What I have found works best with students is increasing confidence. I do this through discussion, modelling of the work that needs to be done, and frequent feedback and feedforward. I can teach any year level as I have experience with all, but my strengths are with senior students especially if they need help with an internal assessment.
