About Cameron
Hi, I’m a recent GCSE graduate who achieved Grade 9s in both English Language and English Literature in 2026. I’m approachable, patient and genuinely enjoy helping others understand English. Having experienced the pressure of GCSEs myself very recently, I understand the challenges students face and how important it is to have someone who can explain things clearly without making them feel overwhelmed.
I decided to start tutoring because I know how valuable good support can be. I improved from a Grade 3 to a Grade 9 in English Literature during my GCSEs, and that experience taught me that struggling with a subject does not mean you are incapable of achieving a top grade. I want to help other students build that same confidence in their own ability and reach their academic potential.
I aim to create a supportive and focused learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, correcting mistakes and continually developing their skills. My goal is to help each student make meaningful progress and achieve the grades they are capable of achieving

I offer friendly, personalised one-to-one English tutoring for students in Years 7–11, specialising in GCSE English Language and Literature. I recently completed my GCSEs in 2026, achieving Grade 9s in both English Language and English Literature.
My own journey is at the heart of how I teach. I improved from a Grade 3 to a Grade 9 in English Literature during my GCSEs, so I understand first-hand what it feels like to struggle with English and how difficult it can be to know what you actually need to change. I also know the techniques and approaches that helped me make that improvement.
I break down English into clear, manageable steps, helping students understand exactly how to approach questions, structure essays, develop analysis and apply exam technique. Lessons are adapted to each student's ability and goals, whether they need to build their confidence, improve their current grade or aim for the highest marks.
Lessons are 60 minutes and delivered online. I want students to leave each lesson understanding something they didn't understand before, feeling more confident and knowing exactly how to improve
