I am a PhD student at St Andrews university, Scotland, having recently graduated a CS Master's program with excellent grades. I've been teaching computer science concepts to both my peers at an informal level, as well as mentoring first year university students.

I'm happy to give programming lessons either at a basic level, or on topics found in the first or second year of a Computer Science degree. I like to approach problems at a fundamental level, ensuring students understand core concepts well before tackling specific instances of problems. I often challenge students to ask questions to arrive at the desired solution, organically supplying them with the thought processes necessary to solve problems on their own.
