About Florent
I have been a private tutor since my 3rd year at school, so it has been 3 years now and counting. I tutored about 5 students in the long term, including one who was preparing for an entrance exam into the best journalism schools in France (he got accepted in three schools out of his top 5).
Previously I have worked for a well-known tutoring agency. Another of my students was given to me because he had catastrophic results in German (about 6 out of 20 in average). After a year the average was brought to 12, which is altogether honorable.

I was recently hired in a translation agency after finishing my studies at ISIT (a renowned school specializing in translation and interpretation, which is a partner of both the UN and the European Union).
Because of this strong background, I offer German and English classes for students in middle school and high school. I can also offer classes to students pursuing higher education depending on their requirements.
I have a 2-year experience with a private tutoring agency thanks to which I have followed several students over time.
I always strive to have the student improve on the 4 basic skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking).
The methodology of a session is as follows:
- Reviewing what has been done in class
- Exercises (translation and grammatical translation)
- Exercises of written or oral understanding. These exercises are an opportunity to make the lesson fun thanks to various media such as video clips or songs.
The goal is for the student to take enough confidence to speak freely. Becoming bilingual does not happen overnight, so I strive to bring tools to the student that will enable him to speak and be understood.
